Info	HCR (High Corrosion Resistant) alloy 1.4529 is a so-called super austenitic stainless steel. It provides particularly good resistance to chloride induced stress corrosion and to local occurrences of corrosion such as pitting or crevice corrosion. This alloy is classified in the highest class CRC V (very strong, EN 1993-1-4) for components and fasteners. Fasteners in 1.4529 are therefore ideal for use in indoor swimming pools and traffic tunnels.
