Váll-Ker: Smarter inventory management in stove production
In 2022, stove manufacturer Váll-Ker Ltd. decided to look for a new solution to manage its inventory. This was a necessary step, as the company had recently expanded its production capacity for stoves. Based in Makó, Hungary, Váll-Ker Ltd now produces between 36,000 and 40,000 stoves annually. The first step was to select the supplier by conducting a price tender, the winner of which was Fabory. The cooperation has been smooth from the beginning, and Fabory has placed special emphasis on providing long-term logistical support.
Barcode system
The company’s expansion brought with it a more complex internal logistics process. Váll-Ker Ltd. chose Fabory Logic and implemented the VAS labeling system. The introduction of Fabory’s barcode system significantly reduced the workload involved in managing the increased volume of incoming goods. This resulted in a faster, more accurate, and more transparent goods receipt process. The need for manual data entry by warehouse staff has now been minimized, saving time and reducing the risk of administrative errors.
