Le portail 3D de Fabory

Le portail 3D de Fabory aide les clients à concevoir un nouveau produit et à établir une connexion. Les clients qui utilisent le portail 3D sont, par exemple, des fabricants de machines, de lignes de production et de systèmes de transport, mais aussi des constructeurs de serres et des fabricants d'équipements électriques. Le portail 3D compte plus de 75 000 produits qui ont été convertis aux formats CAO 2D et 3D courants, présentés dans différentes vues et avec ou sans dimensions. Si un article est disponible en 3D, il est indiqué "Télécharger le modèle CAO" sous les spécifications. Un clic sur ce lien mène directement au portail 3D. Si vous souhaitez utiliser le portail, vous devez vous inscrire une fois.

Ces téléchargements ont lieu dans le monde entier, notamment par des ingénieurs de l'industrie manufacturière. L'Europe en représente une grande partie." Le nombre de téléchargements continue d'augmenter, ce qui est lié à la croissance du marché, selon Marcus. Comme raison supplémentaire de l'augmentation de l'utilisation, il mentionne le besoin sur le marché d'un portail convivial avec un lien direct vers la boutique en ligne. "Cela fonctionne efficacement. En cliquant sur un produit, vous accédez à la boutique en ligne et ajoutez le produit à votre panier."

Gemba walk

Fabory can contribute to improving fastening processes during production. During a Gemba Walk, we observe the assembly line to see how fasteners and related items are installed. This often reveals opportunities for improvement and cost savings, which can lead to a better, safer, and more efficient process or product. For example, using multi-purpose screws can reduce the number of installation steps. Another example is optimising assembly instructions to make the connection more resistant to loosening or fatigue.

Product rationalisation

When a company has been developing and producing multiple products for years, it can lead to various fasteners being used. Product rationalisation can help the customer reduce three different fasteners to just one. We improve the list of items by eliminating or replacing intermediate sizes or technically obsolete products. Sometimes, a small change allows a cheaper standard item to replace an expensive, specially-produced fastener.

Rationalisation of surface treatments

Rationalisation is also possible with the applied surface treatments. It is often more economical to order one type of corrosion protection on fasteners instead of ordering the same screws with different coatings. Sometimes, it is even more cost-effective to replace small fasteners with special corrosion protection all at once with stainless steel variants.

We assess where improvements can be made with the customer. Sometimes, a locking product with an adapted mounting method is unnecessary.
