A smooth connection: how De Regt and Fabory modernize their supply chain

Fabory approached De Regt Conveyor Systems (Biervliet) with the question: “May we set up a platform for you that processes orders automatically?” De Regt, a specialist in internal transport systems and storage solutions for bulk and unit goods, was about to contact Fabory with the same request. This sparked a smooth collaboration. Fabory colleagues Kim Hertman and Branco Kloosterman mapped out De Regt’s requirements, after which the digital connection was implemented. The result is a customized platform for De Regt, fully integrated with Fabory as supplier.

Customized integration via the SCSN platform

The new ordering platform automates the exchange of order information between De Regt and Fabory. Branco Kloosterman explains that the platform can be tailored entirely to the customer’s needs. Some key features of this solution include:

  • Automated order processing: Orders from De Regt to Fabory are processed digitally and instantly, without manual entry.
  • Digital packing lists: Fabory provides packing slips digitally through the platform, speeding up and simplifying goods receipt checks at De Regt.
  • Electronic invoicing: Invoices are transferred digitally and processed in the system, reducing paperwork and minimizing errors.

Because the platform is specifically aligned with De Regt’s processes, the exchanged data integrates seamlessly with their internal ERP system. This boosts efficiency, reduces manual work, and minimizes entry errors.

Together with De Regt, Fabory ensured that all required business and product data was correctly in place in both systems before going live. This joint data check was essential to guarantee a properly functioning connection. The most important step was cleaning up the master data. This is a crucial step in every SCSN implementation—but once completed, both parties benefit from a flawless connection.
