Variation in a vast range

Anyone who has been in the fasteners market since 1947 knows what the customer wants and what moves the market. However, a listening ear for the wishes of customers and following market developments is still necessary. With this approach, we keep the vast Fabory range up to date.

Fabory has one of the widest ranges with bolts and nuts, washers, screws, threaded rods, anchoring products, blind rivets and many other fastening materials. We deliver most of these product categories from stock.

Whether it’s an M1 nut that almost requires a magnifying glass to observe, or an M110 nut that requires machinery to lift: within one dimension, the counter of the number of nuts in Fabory’s range already rises above forty. This shows the depth of the Fabory range. The nuts differ from each other in material, strength class and surface coverage. You will not find as many variants of any other product at Fabory as the nut.

100 millions d'écrous galvanisés

L'un des nombreux conteneurs que nous voyons arriver chaque semaine est un conteneur rempli d'écrous galvanisés, classe 8. Chaque année, 100 millions d'entre eux sont vendus au magasin Fabory, ce qui représente environ 877 tonnes. Naturellement, presque chaque écrou galvanisé est accompagné d'un boulon, d'une rondelle ou d'une vis appropriée (pas la vis à bois, bien sûr). Cela a permis aux composants fonctionnels de cet écrou d'être exposés aux intempéries et à la corrosion. La demande d'écrous en acier avec un revêtement de surface en zinc lamellaire a donc augmenté. La gamme Fabory répond à cette demande avec environ 2 000 articles en zinc lamellaire. Ce revêtement présente une résistance élevée à la corrosion avec une faible épaisseur de couche et est respectueux de l'environnement car il ne contient pas de chrome 6+.

La puissance indestructible du titane dans le sport automobile

Si l'écrou galvanisé de classe 8 présente un taux d'enlèvement très élevé, la gamme Fabory comprend également des articles dont le taux d'enlèvement est nettement inférieur. Ces articles ont une grande pertinence. Prenez l'écrou en titane. C'est un bon exemple de produit utilisé peu fréquemment, mais dans des situations spécifiques. Pensez au sport automobile, à l'aérospatiale et aux solutions médicales et maritimes. En raison de ses propriétés favorables, le titane est également fréquemment utilisé dans les systèmes d'échange de chaleur et la tuyauterie, la construction d'équipements et de machines et la construction de yachts. Le matériau présente des propriétés favorables telles qu'un faible poids, une grande solidité, une résistance à la chaleur et une très bonne résistance à la corrosion. L'écrou est utilisé en combinaison avec des boulons, des rondelles et des tiges filetées du même matériau.

Resistant in environment with chloride

Another item that you probably don’t pick up daily, but for which there is a specific demand, is a nut in the chloride-resistant stainless steel A8. The nut has successful applications in chloride-containing environments, such as indoor swimming pools and traffic tunnels. Another good example is the process industry, where chemicals are used. The article, unique thanks to the chloride-resistant super-austenitic material 1.4529, can be seen as a luxury stainless steel version. This nut is used in combination with bolts, washers, and studs of the same material.
