Fabory acquires Metrik and expands specialist expertise in energy and petrochemicals

Fabory has acquired Metrik Fasteners B.V. and Stern Instruments B.V. (jointly referred to as Metrik). With this step, Fabory further expands its specialist support across the Benelux petrochemical and energy markets. The acquisition underlines Fabory’s role as a leading specialist in high-quality, critical fastening solutions.
Metrik has built a strong reputation in sectors where safety, compliance and reliability are essential, including petrochemicals, power generation, renewable energy and offshore. The company is recognised for its technical expertise, specialised product portfolio and close collaboration with leading manufacturers.
Greater technical depth for critical environments
The complementary strengths of both organisations add further technical depth for customers operating in performance-critical environments. While Fabory and Stokvis are strongly positioned in large-scale turnarounds and MRO supply (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), Metrik contributes additional expertise in complex fastening applications and specialised energy projects.
The acquisition also creates further growth opportunities in Belgium, where Metrik holds exclusive distribution rights.

As part of the agreement, Stern Instruments will also become part of Fabory. Stern operates as a specialised supplier of control valve spare parts for energy and process installations, further strengthening our support in maintenance and shutdown-related activities.

With this acquisition, Fabory increases its capabilities in highly specialised, performance-critical applications, while maintaining the service levels that define both Fabory and Metrik.
