  • Oversized hot dip galvanized nuts are manufactured with thread tolerance class 6AZ and mate with externally threaded parts (bolts, threaded rods) that are manufactured with thread tolerance class 6g before coating.
  • As the nut thread is tapped after galvanizing the threads are not coated. The corrosion resistance however is not influenced disadvantageously as the thread will be protected by the zinc layer of the mating part.oversized
