J.M. Borstlap and his sons Karel and Joop start their company, Borstlap & Sons, in Scheveningen. As wholesale traders of fasteners, they sell most of their products under the Fabory brand name. The business flourishes and soon becomes too big for the successive establishments in The Hague.Tilburg
To replace the declining textile industry, Tilburg welcomes the ambitious Borstlap organisation into its territory. Continuous growth and several acquisitions have resulted in the Borstlap Masters in Fasteners Group, a name globally associated with high-quality products.Borstlap Family
