Welcome to the world of Fabory: Europe's specialist in fasteners. It all started in 1947 with the sale of fasteners. Today Fabory has grown into a full-service company. With more than 400.000 products, market knowledge and expertise in supply chain solutions, we can provide peace of mind for our partners and customers from A to Z.

We offer a complete range of fasteners consisting of standard Fasteners, custom-made products for specific applications and C-parts for the OEM market. In addition, we supply MRO products such as tools and safety items. Everything for creating a safe and reliable fastener.

Fabory's head office is in Tilburg, and its international operations cover 10 European countries. With over 1,000 employees, we operate in 10 different branches and five distributions centres. We are convinced that our solid local presence helps to understand your business better. Furthermore, our specialization in various markets helps to meet all kinds of customer-specific requirements.

We are responsible for 120,000 satisfied customers each year and process more than 5 million order lines. We do this in cooperation with more than 3,000 suppliers. On Fabory.com we welcome over 2 million visitors each year and besides that we advice our customers in person in our eight Technical Service Centers.

As the market leader in fasteners in the Benelux, we have over 400,000 products in our assortment. Fabory offers a complete range of fasteners, tools and industrial products. The product range is continuously expanded to meet your specific requirements. The assortment is available in both the webshop and the Fabory Centres.

Quality

Fabory strives to excel with a high level of quality. From our specialism, we understand which standards and certifications are essential for fastening solutions. Combined with a sophisticated quality system and in-depth technical knowledge, this ensures that we can meet your quality requirements.

The quality of our products starts with selecting suitable suppliers. We evaluate potential suppliers by testing sample products and auditing the manufacturing process. Approved suppliers are also evaluated on an ongoing basis with the goal of monitoring product quality and delivery reliability. In addition to this supplier evaluation system, we monitor products through logistics and laboratory (QC) inspections. In our A2LA-accredited laboratory, we test characteristics such as hardness, thread tolerance, tensile strength and RoHS compliance.

Our technical specialists contribute solutions and provide advice on fasteners and various fasteners' designs and applications. In addition, our close cooperation with standardization institutes and technical committees guarantees a high level of technical knowledge and information.

Als Masters in Fasteners streeft Fabory altijd naar het leveren van de beste kwaliteit. Dat laten ook onze bedrijfsprocessen zien. Overal komen de door ISO vastgestelde normen terug: op de werkvloer, in het magazijn, het laboratorium, in het contact met klanten en de manier waarop we omgaan met het milieu. Met het oog op meertaligheid, heeft ISO gekozen voor de aanduiding ISO. Dat is afgeleid van het Griekse isos, wat gelijk betekent. We lichten graag aan u toe aan welke kwaliteitsnormen onze dienstverlening en onze bevestigingsmaterialen precies voldoen.

ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001 is een internationale norm voor kwaliteitsmanagement.

De norm wordt gebruikt bij het beoordelen of een organisatie voldoet aan de eisen van klanten, de wet- en regelgeving die op het product van toepassing zijn en de eisen van de organisatie zelf. Daarnaast vormen de eisen met elkaar goede aanknopingspunten voor het opzetten en inrichten van een kwaliteitsmanagementsysteem.

Borstlap & Sons

J.M. Borstlap and his sons Karel and Joop start their company Borstlap & Sons in Scheveningen. As wholesale traders in fasteners they sell most of their products under the brand name Fabory. The business flourishes and soon becomes too big for the successive establishments in The Hague.

Tilburg

To replace the declining textile industry, Tilburg welcomes the ambitious Borstlap organization into its territory. Continuous growth and several acquisitions result in the Borstlap Masters in Fasteners Group, a name that is globally associated with high-quality products.

Borstlap Family

The last member of the Borstlap family to play an active role in the company is John Borstlap. He left the company in 1999. By now the company covers 4 continents and has opened its first webshop in addition to its many physical locations.

Fabory

In 2006 the name Borstlap is replaced by Fabory to strengthen the group's uniform identity. Once created at the Borstlap family's kitchen table, Fabory is the name by which the company continues its international growth.

Ambition

Torqx Capital Partners, a Dutch private equity company acquires the Fabory Group. The ambitions reach far in strengthening the position as a specialized fastener distributor in the European market. But also to improve the customer experience and the further growth of the company through acquisitions.
