Hexagon bolts and screws are essential fasteners in countless connections.
There are a wide variety of hexagon bolts and screws available, each designed for specific applications. The difference between partial and full threads is an important distinction. Partial thread hexagon bolts (DIN 931 or ISO 4014) have partial screw threads, while full thread or tap bolts (DIN 933 or ISO 4017) have complete screw threads. Another aspect to consider is the metric fineness of the thread. Both full and partial thread variants are available in metric fine thread (DIN 961 or ISO 8676 for full thread and DIN 960 or ISO 8765 for partial thread). This variation lets you choose the right bolt to match your project's specifications.
Fabory's hexagon bolts are available in a variety of options. For example, we have stainless steel hexagon bolts and galvanised hexagon bolts. We also have stainless steel hexagon screws and stainless steel bolts with partial screw threads available in our Lubrinox coating. Prevent the seizing (cold welding) of your stainless steel bolts and save an average of 25 seconds per bolt.
An important aspect to pay attention to when choosing hexagon bolts and screws is the difference between the ISO and DIN standards, especially the key width. For example, an M10 hexagon bolt has a different key width when it is according to DIN 933 compared to when it is according to DIN 4017.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that hexagon bolts and screws are available in different materials, of which steel (AD-W7) is a commonly chosen option, especially in applications involving pressure vessels.
With this diverse selection of variants and specifications, Fabory offers an extensive range of hexagon bolts and screws, enabling you to always find suitable fastening materials for your specific needs.
