This hex nut is manufactured to DIN 934 standards and made from steel with an electrolytically galvanized finish, making it suitable for indoor use or applications with very mild exposure. It features a metric thread and falls under strength class |8|. Please note: class |8| nuts are rated according to DIN 267-4 and have a lower load capacity than class 8 nuts per ISO 898-2. In the event of mechanical overload, the threads on either the nut or bolt may strip.
