Hexagon nut BSF BS 1083 Steel Plain Gr.A 1/4

This hex nut, manufactured to BS 1083, is made from plain steel—meaning the steel has no coating or surface treatment. While the material is strong, it offers virtually no built-in protection against corrosion. The nut is rated at strength grade Gr.A and features British Standard Fine (BSF) threads. Whitworth threads (BSW/BSF) are not recommended for international use; for new construction, we advise going with metric threads (M/MF/MEF) or unified threads (UNC/UNF) instead.
