At Twin Disc’s facility in Nivelles, Belgium, managing Loctite inventory required a more efficient approach. Employees were dealing with both high consumption volumes and a wide product range. Inventory management was handled manually, making the process relatively time-consuming and often dependent on individual follow-up. .
Time-consuming management
“During my conversations with employees on site, I noticed that Loctite consumption was high and that managing the inventory required a lot of time. The manual process also made it heavily dependent on one person to monitor stock levels and initiate new orders,” says Alessandro Pellitteri from Fabory. “With their previous way of working, they also had to deal with a minimum lead time of two weeks, which put significant pressure on planning and process continuity.”
