Wood construction screws are unique multipurpose screws for a wide range of uses in the professional timber construction. They can be used for such applications as timber frame and home construction, staircase construction, carports, fastening and connecting rafters.
These screws are exceptionally strong, and like the universal wood screws, they do not require predrilling. Steel wood construction screws are quenched and tempered for high strength applications, which makes them suitable for very hard types of wood; this use does not apply to stainless steel types).
Additionally, they offer low friction capabilities to reduce the torque necessary to drive them into the wood. This feature saves battery life on power tools, improves the user experience and heightens overall productivity.
