Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I change my order after confirming it?
It is possible to modify your order, but you need to get in touch with your Fabory contact or our sales office team to do so. It is not possible to change your order in the webshop after check-out.
2. How do I pay for my order?
At the moment, payment by invoice is the only option.
3. What is the lead time for my order?
Typically, an order is delivered the next day. However, if your settings are on ‘complete delivery’, the delivery date is defined by the article with the longest lead time. Availability is shown via icons in the webshop. 
4. Is it possible to have my order delivered to another address?
Yes, you can enter a different delivery address (within your country) during the check-out process. This address is not stored in our databases or in your webshop account for future use. To have a new address added for future use, please contact us by phone. 
5. What is a shopping list?
A shopping list allows you to add articles to your shopping list if you want to select articles but not check out yet. Also, you can save shopping lists to set up a new order if you typically order the same set of products on a regular basis. 
6. Where can I get a scanner?
You can get in touch with your Fabory contact or call our sales office team to order a scanner. Please note that conditions apply for receiving and using the scanner. We’ll be happy to tell you all about the use, technical details, and possible cost savings with the scanner called FastScan. You can find more information in the KeepStock section of this webshop.
7. How can I generate barcodes?
A barcode generator is available within the webshop. When you enter the article number, a barcode is generated and can be printed to label your storage location for that particular article. Keep in mind that the quality of printers varies and that a barcode requires a more high-end printer in order to work properly. If you find that you are having difficulties here, just contact our sales office team. We are more than happy to print the barcode for you and send it over. 
8. My password doesn't work.
Please contact us and our eCommerce team will investigate what is causing the error and will report back to you once we’ve solved the issue.
9. Should I enter my login data every time I log into the web shop?
For convenience you can tick the ‘remember me’ box. Then when you login, just enter your first letter and the system will suggest your full name. Please make sure nobody else can access your PC.
10. Where can I change my account settings?
To change your account settings go to ‘My Account’ on the homepage. 
11. Can I see my net prices?
By default, customers will see their net prices. If you are part of a customer hierarchy, the admin user within your company can define whether each user can see the price of articles.
12. If an article is not available, how can I find an alternative article?
You can see which similar articles Fabory has available based on the characteristics. You can refine your selection based on characteristics using our search tools in the webshop (menu on the left). A broader search term might work too. If you cannot find what you are looking for, don’t hesitate to contact us by phone. We can perform an additional search or purchase the article you need as what is known as a Special.
13. What should I do if I can't find the article I want?
You can contact our sales office team since the article is most likely not part of our standard assortment. Our team can find out if we can get the article for you via alternative sources.
14. What are the opening hours of a Fabory shop?
Our shops are open from 07.30 until 17.00 hours on working days, although some shops open at 08.00 hrs. Please check the opening hours of any specific shop in our store locator on the homepage.
15. Does Fabory have an App for online shopping?
Unfortunately, not yet. But we are working hard behind the scenes to develop mobile applications to provide an improved shopping experience via your tablet or smartphone.
16. Can I pay online with a credit or debit card?
At the moment, this is not possible. If you register in our webshop, we will send you an invoice the day after we ship the goods.
17. Can I buy at Fabory as a private person?
No, Fabory is a Business to Business reseller. We cannot sell articles to a private person via our webshop.
